Final Three Blocks

Well, the final three blocks have been made. The sashing and border have been added. Now it is time to assemble the quilt top with the batting and the backing. Then on to the task of quilting it all together. I hope to have this finished by Saturday, so that I can hang this quilt on the living room wall of the farm. This quilt has been so much fun....I could hardly wait to begin each new block before I had even finished the previous one. This has given me much practice in the machine applique technique.

Well the way I see it you'll be finished by midnight tonight!!!! Girl you are fast- you & Sheryl-lyn!!! I am a turtle in comparison!
I have vowed to to never do machine applique again. I have had 3 good try's and each worse than the one before. Me & the machine are just barely on speaking terms since that!

Beautiful! Each block is just a little work of art.
