The Best of Christmases

This was perhaps one of the best Christmases of my life. The days were filled with fun, family, and friends. We had decided to tone down the gift giving this year which ended up being a great idea. A gag gift exchange left us all laughing like we had not laughed in so long....deep, infectious belly laughs....roll on the ground laughs! Our day began with Andy making stromboli for a lunchtime about that apron!!
The Stromboli was terrific....he's one great cook! The afternoon was filled with family fellowship...speed scrabble, pool tournaments, competitions on the Wii, and the infamous gag gift exchange that will live forever in our memories!
Here is dear Hubbs in his gag Mrs. Clause outfit! Yes, that is a wig!!

Our meal was delicious and more laughter ensued as we opened our Christmas Crackers and shared our jokes.

As usual, the chief photographer, (me) made it into none of the pictures!

What a cool idea! I got my nephew a giant channel changer knowing that it was useable...but funny too.

The same idea here on gifts- but I think we will add the gag gift idea to next years celebration!
What a lovely family day you all had!
Free from the commercialism and hype and back to the good old Norman Rockwall days!!! Any one of your photos could have been one of his paintings!!!
We need to remind each other about this next year,eh?
