Pink Saturday at Bee Haven Acres

Pink Saturday is here again!!!
I hope it has been a great week for you all.
(Those of you who are still dealing with Hurricane Ike issues....
we will keep you close in our hearts.) For this Saturday's Pink apron, I thought I would use a piece of 1950's vintage cabbage rose fabric. It is the softest cotton you can imagine. This apron is my own pattern. I started making pleats, experimentally, and ended up with this little gal! I think she's kind of cute, actually. From here she will travel to my online store and hopefully make her way to a new loving home!!
If you would like to see more pink Saturday entries....
check out How Sweet the Sound for a complete list.
Thanks Beverly for organizing this fun project!

Hello Sweet Bev!

Happy Pink Saturday to you! This new apron is adorable!!! I LOVE all the pleats! I grinned when I saw the pleats because it reminded me that I learned how to make pleats in my 7th
grade homemaking class! Memories! Did you learn how to make a gym bag?! LOL!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Maryjane

YOU are a lady of so many talents! That PLEATED apron is wonderful. I have attempted pleats (a very long time ago) twice and decided "no more for ME!" They are not easy to do and you did a magnificent job! Your Newfie enjoying an apple was so sweet! Oh my---your BEEHIVE candles!!!! I was speechless over those! Do you sell them or are they just for your family to use? I am so amazed that you do all of those creative things. Have a great Sunday--your name is in the drawing for a Pink Sat. Starter Kit! :-) Dana

Hi Bev, I had to catch up on your blog and girl you have been busy.

Thank you for your comment while I was away, they meant so much.

I know if you stay as busy as you are at this time you will live to be a 100. You need to publish your pattern, it is great. That is what I'm working on at this time, with the electricity out I had plenty of time.

Keep Stitchin'
