A Warm Homey Glow

I love things with warm homey glows.
I love lamps that are made from something unexpected.
You already know that I love old cast iron kitchen tools....especially grinders.
Today I found all of these things wrapped up in one!
I took a little time to get away from the farm for a couple of hours.
I went to a nearby town to peruse an antique market....and this is what I found.
I LOVE IT!!!

While decorating for Christmas,
I stuck this little candle lamp in my old coffee grinder.
I surrounded the light with greens and a couple of pinecones.
I think I will keep this as a light....for now.

I just love all of your cast iron items! Especially the coffee grinder!
Glad your antiqueing was successful! What a fun idea for a lamp!
Blessings!

I have iron skillets on my wall in the kitchen. I love the grinder idea. I have one in a drawer right now because I didn't know how to display it. Would love your idea about how to decorate my bedroom (in a log house). Please stop by my blog and see the post about changes.
