After what began as a very sad start to the new year, my daughter Jenn has recovered from the loss of her dear little Yorkie, Kody, and ventured back into the world of dog-ownership. Meet Rocky. He is an adorable Boxer pup (seen pictured here with my Maddie). He is sweet and smart and a great addition to her family.

I'm so glad she got another dog!
It is so hard to lose a precious pet!We lost our family dog,Andy in 2006 around Thanksgiving. I sat with his head in my lap as he died. Finally in January of 07 we adopted Charly.
I have a hard time being without a big dog outside.
