Wild Blackberries

After what feels like weeks and weeks of blueberry picking and jam production, the bushes are all but picked clean. There were enough ripe ones left to add to a wonderful harvest of both wild and cultivated blackberries to make the yummiest jam ever....Mixed berry jam. This weekend's picking yielded 7 pint jars of this delectable, fruity spread...and another case of chigger bites!

These jars will be added to the pantry for use throughout the coming year.

Hi Bev, you are a busy lady. I wish I had been more around my Mom when she was canning. A neighbor and I did a lot last year, but none this year.
Your aprons are doing great.

Too funny! I haven't had a Chigger bite since I lived in Kentucky (back in the 60's) & I don't miss those little buggers!
MJ is right, your jams are the BEST!
