Thank You Gracie!!

Last weekend I received a surprise package in the mail from my friend Grace in Spokane, Washington. Grace and I are kindred spirits and share so many common interests. Grace is a Lavender farmer and makes the most heavenly sachets (which occasionally she sends to me.) She inspired me to plant a row of lavender in my vegetable garden to section off the strawberry patch from the rest of the garden. Well, back to the subject of the gift. Along with some wonderful lavender goodies, she sent me two beautiful fabrics. I used these fabrics along with some vintage lace and hankie to fashion this apron. I call it "Grace".

I am blushing,,,,thank you for naming this Beautiful apron after me...awe pashaw!
When I saw the fabric, I just thought of you, if anyone has the vision to create a beautiful piece of wearable art, it would be you!
You wil love having your lavender tween your garden plants. Lavender is a natural bug repelent and it is a "BEE' attractor...so you get a double duty plant. Then ofcourse there are the sachets and wands that you can have fun making w/the lavender buds.
Enjoy your sun rise & sunsets...those are the two best times of the day.

Hi Beverly,
I'm so glad you stopped by, I'm going to save your site in my blogs to brag about. I found you once before and lost you. I love your aprons. Very talented. Your baby goats are so cute, and PA is beautiful. We went through it going to the Falls. We need to go back. Stay busy creating and I will check back.
Hugs,
Bonnie
